Batteries Plus is your destination for Chevy Astro replacement batteries. We carry Duracell flooded batteries that provide reliable power year-round. If you're in the market for a high-performance AGM battery, we carry plenty of options from Optima and X2Power.

Bring your Chevrolet Astro van to your nearest Batteries Plus for a free battery test. If you purchase an auto battery, our technicians will install it for you (valid at participating locations, on most vehicle makes and models). Our Automotive Center is your source for replacement headlight bulbs, wiper blades, battery chargers and more. Batteries Plus can also help you with your key fob replacement needs (available at participating locations only).

Which is Better, AGM or Flooded Battery?

There are 2 types of auto batteries available, flooded and AGM.

Flooded Batteries

  • Are more affordable upfront than an AGM battery
  • May require you to maintain the electrolyte inside the battery by periodically adding distilled water
  • Have shorter lifespans than AGM batteries

AGM Batteries

  • Cost more upfront than flooded batteries
  • Are built to last 2-3X longer than a flooded battery - this makes them a better long-term investment
  • Are more powerful than a flooded battery, which makes it easier to start your engine in extreme hot and cold weather
