Introduced to the world in 2013, the Chevy Trax was a welcome site for many looking to venture into the small crossover market. Compared to it's larger Chevy SUV family members, the Trax was still very capable as an all-weather city car with it's optional all-wheel-drive system. Despite it's small size, the interior still offers great storage capacities and the creature comforts you would find in higher end vehicles, like remote start, heated seats, touchscreen radio and more.

Whether you're headed off to school or driving into the office, you shouldn't have to worry about your Trax's battery. Batteries Plus carries a large selection of high-quality automotive batteries for your Trax from the highly rated Duracell Ultra brand. It's important to know which battery your Trax needs, check the owner's manual, look under the hood or use our fitment finder to make sure the you don't use the wrong size battery  .

Not sure where to start to find the right battery you need for your Trax? Check out our helpful article "How Do I Know Which Car Battery Fits My Car?  " where we walk you through different ways to make sure you know the battery that is an exact fit for your vehicle.

Have your new Chevy Trax battery installed by the professionals at Batteries Plus. Our trained experts at our 700+ locations around the country will expertly install your battery and in most cases under an hour. Help extend the battery life of your new battery by upgrading to our optional Premier Installation service to have anti-corrosion materials and terminal protectors installed when your new battery is installed in your car. Expert battery installation is available on most cars but not every car qualifies, please contact your local store for details.

Batteries Plus also carries a large selection of headlights, interior and exterior light bulbs, wiper blades and even key fobs if you need to pick up anything else while you're shopping. Take a look at our Automotive Center to see everything we have to offer.

Chevrolet Trax FAQs

A new battery for your Trax shouldn't have to break the bank. That's why we offer several options for your Chevy from the Duracell Ultra flooded battery for roughly $205 up to the Platinum AGM battery for $250. Whatever budget you have, we have a battery for you.

Trax batteries will generally last around 3-5 years if you perform little maintenance on the battery. If you perform routine maintenance checking for corrosion and removing it from the battery terminals with a terminal cleaner, the battery can last you much longer.

Most Chevy Trax's use the BCI Group Size 47 battery. It's important to note that this can vary depending on the year and trim of your car and it's always best to verify what you need before making a purchase by looking under the hood, in the owner's manual or using our fitment finder.
