Replacement batteries for your Mercedes Benz will range in price from around $175 for a Duracell Ultra flooded battery and up to $350 for an Optima Yellow Top premium AGM battery. All Mercedes Benz batteries come with free replacement warranties that range anywhere from 2 to 4 years.
Mercedes Benz is a premium vehicle brand and most of their models come standard with AGM batteries from the factory because they have more power demands with lots of electronics. Some older models may still use flooded lead-acid batteries but new models generally will only come with AGM. The Duracell Ultra Platinum AGM line or the X2Power line of premium AGM batteries are great options for your Mercedes car or SUV.
Most Mercedes vehicles will come from the factory with AGM batteries due to the greater power demands of the vehicle. If your Mercedes comes with an AGM battery from the factory please remember that you can only replace the battery in those models with AGM batteries. You cannot use a flooded battery. If you have an older model of Mercedes that has a flooded battery, you can absolutely upgrade to an AGM.
