Batteries Plus is your Nissan Versa Note battery headquarters. We offer free battery testing. Stop into Batteries Plus today and see if your Nissan Versa Note needs a car battery replacement. If your Note battery is failing, you'll find high-quality replacement batteries immediately available. You can also take advantage of expert auto battery installation service (valid at participating locations, on most vehicle makes & models).

In addition to the replacement battery you need for your Nissan, we can also help you find additional automotive essentials in our Automotive Center, and offer car key cutting, key fob programming and key fob battery replacement too (valid at participating locations only). You can also rely on us for essentials like wiper replacements, fuses, jump starters and more.

Before you go shopping for a new battery, you will want to look up two important pieces of information, your battery size and the cold-cranking amps, or CCA rating. The group battery size will feature a series of numbers, like Group 48, or numbers and a letter, like Group 51R. You can find this number in your owner's manual. There are also several online resources that can help you determine the right battery size for your Nissan Versa Note.

Cold Cranking Amps   (CCA for short) tell you how well your battery will perform once the temperature hits zero degrees. Your owner's manual will tell you the minimum number of CCAs you need for your Versa Note battery. If you live in a particularly cold climate, you can buy a battery with a higher CCA rating, but be sure not to buy one that falls below the recommended CCA rating. Cold is, after all, really hard on car batteries.

There are two types of replacement batteries for your Nissan Versa Note, flooded and AGM batteries  . When it comes to cost, flooded batteries are more affordable than AGM batteries. AGM batteries, however, are designed to last 2-3x longer than a flooded battery will, so you may end up saving money in the long run with an AGM battery.

Not sure if you need a flooded or AGM battery? If your Note came with an AGM battery installed originally, you must replace it with another AGM option. If your car requires an AGM battery, downgrading to a flooded battery will hurt the performance of your vehicle and the battery itself.

If your car originally came with a flooded battery, you can choose either a flooded or AGM replacement battery. While an AGM battery will cost you more upfront, they have a number of performance advantages outlined in our blog "What is an AGM Battery?  "
